eHarmony is committed to finding its members long lasting love. In order to fully check it out, I made a profile for myself. They ask you so many questions by the end I didn’t even care how I answered them. I understand trying to get a better idea of what kind of person you are, however I felt the questions went on forever.
So now that I have logged back into my eHarmony account, I can see all my matches. In this list, it shows the person’s name, where they live and whether they sent you a communication. My profile had 45 matches and at the top of these were three profiles that asked of more information from me.
So eHarmony is basically free, however I tried to view photos of a man that was in my match folder, and it asked me to choose a package to purchase. This put me off, because if I can’t even see what kind of people are on here, then it’s going to be difficult to know if I want to pay for their services.
I do think that this is a good way to get people to purchase packages so that they can fully use eHarmony for their dating needs. If you would like to communicate back to the matches that sent you a communication, they will also ask you to pay. Even if you don’t buy your other features from eHarmony, you can still use your profile and use their helpful resources such as dating advice and other compatibility browsers.
The matches just seem to come in all the time. I believe that they just take all of your information and match it to the huge questionnaire you fill out when setting up your profile. What I find surprising is that they are still asking for more information about me as I am logging in for a second time. If you are serious about meeting your partner online, then eHarmony can probably help you out, but of course for a small payment of 20-40 dollars a month depending on how long you will have your subscription.
