Live Links has very upbeat music playing in the background and a flirty fun female voice directing you through the chat line. At the main menu you can jump right into the live chat and listen to other people’s greetings, or you can surf through the main menu options.
They have a Hot list, where you keep record of callers you find interesting. It’s like an address book for callers you would like to speak with again. So you can save someone to your hotlist and be able to find them for future reference. I think this is nice because then you don’t have to search through all the other guys to find this one special person again. Even if they aren’t online anymore you still have the ability to leave them a message.
Live links has a complete separate menu where you can listen to all their services and offerings. They have a member reward program for VIP members. I believe this is a good feature to have for regulars on the chat line. They didn’t go into detail about the specific rewards you can get as a VIP member, but you have higher chances of getting benefits.
They also offered what they called live links 10-10. They gave a separate phone number for this line and it costs 99 cents per minute and 2.99 for a connections fee to connect with live singles in your area. Sounds kind of expensive to me, and i am not sure what the difference is.
This chat line is doing a lot of things in the phone dating world. They have a separate Latin chat line, they were happy to promote. As well as an all female chat. This is called Lavender line, and it’s strictly for lesbian women to chat one-on-one.
One feature that Live Links offers is called Love detected. This seemed strange to me, but i would be really interested to see if people actually use this. It determines how your match feels about you. They promote it so that callers can find out if the person they are connecting with feels the same way you feel about them. They use a new technology that reads the voice and tells the caller what sense of feelings they are putting out by just the tone of their voice.
A pitfall I found while being on the phone line was that there was a greeting that was an advertisement. It was playing an ad for Wells Fargo. I wouldn’t think that this phone dating service would like callers using their phone lines to promote business.
